OnStar Canada Enhances In-Vehicle Safety Communications with Bell Mobility

A Canadian First: OnStar-equipped GM vehicles to share Bell Mobility calling plan minutes

DETROIT, May 31, 2006 - OnStar Canada, the nation’s leading provider of in-vehicle safety, security and peace of mind services, and Bell Canada, today announced The Bell Minute-Sharing with OnStar service plan. OnStar-equipped GM vehicles and Bell Mobility customers will now be able to share calling plan minutes and receive one unique invoice from Bell Mobility.
“Bell Canada and OnStar Canada recognize the importance of promoting the safe use of wireless telecommunications while operating or stationary in a vehicle,” said Sanae Takahashi, Vice President, Mobility Marketing, Services Development, Bell Mobility. “The economy of shared minutes reduces costs for our customers while enhancing the OnStar service, which is known for its safety and security.”

With the Bell Minute-Sharing with OnStar service plan, Bell Mobility customers can:
· Use their Bell Mobility calling plan minutes for OnStar Hands-Free Calling;
· Receive a single bill for all handheld and in-vehicle calls;
· Enjoy the security of Canada’s most reliable network;
· Be confident that the OnStar system, including its Hands-Free Calling functionality, is uniquely engineered to optimize performance;

The Bell Minute-Sharing with OnStar service plan is available to current OnStar subscribers who have vehicles equipped with OnStar digital hardware.

To subscribe to the new Bell Minute-Sharing with OnStar service plan, consumers can visit their local Bell, Bell World or Bell Mobility store to sign up and find out more about eligibility requirements.

For, OnStar is available on more than 50 GM vehicles including SUVs, light trucks, minivans, crossovers, large and midsize sedans and small cars. Only GM is committed to offering a full range of vehicles that offer continuous safety protection before, during and after a crash.
